What Does the Opportunity Involve?

As an Advertising Sales Manager, you will help local businesses understand how online advertising can increase their visibility and reach potential customers.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Identifying and approaching local businesses that could benefit from online advertising.
• Promoting advertising packages on our What's On In websites.
• Building relationships with business owners and developing new sales opportunities.
• Presenting digital advertising solutions to prospective customers.
• Helping businesses improve their online presence through local advertising.
• Developing your local market and building a portfolio of advertising customers.

Who Are We Looking For?

We would like to hear from people who are proactive, professional and comfortable communicating with business owners.

Previous advertising or sales experience would be an advantage, although applicants with strong communication skills, commercial awareness and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

You should ideally have:

• Good communication and presentation skills.
• An interest in digital marketing and online business.
• The confidence to approach and speak with local businesses.
• A laptop suitable for business presentations.
• The motivation to develop sales opportunities and build lasting customer relationships.
• An understanding of the local area in which you wish to work.
